Best Use of Theme and MVP awards

Co-lead, Programmer - 2016
DUNG is a game created in 48 hours and was the winner of SCAD's Best Use of Theme award for Global Game Jam 2016. It is a multiplayer action title where players gather resources and compete for the favor of the Dung Beetle Queen in a sacred ritual.
As project lead I managed our design process, and as the team's only programmer, I integrated all of the group's assets into the game and designed the level and character mechanics.
Game Synopsis:
After the self destruction of mankind due to war, and the near-obliteration of Earth, other creatures arose seeking to dominate the world. The strongest species was the Dung Beetle. Evolving quickly, this fierce race sought to expand its domain to all corners of the galaxy.
The leader of the Dung Beetle armada, the Potty Queen, is now looking to perform an ascension ritual and has sent her most prominent suitor ships to gather poop in the Asteroid Field, but only one may help her complete her sacred task.
